The Inconvenience of Scripture: Never Too Old (audio)

Not that I'm there yet, but I imagine that when I turn 70, the last thing on my mind will be packing everything up, all my servants, and cattle, and tents, and moving to a place I've never even seen before. I'd like to think that I'd rather just settle down somewhere and reflect back on my life and see what God has done in it.

That, however, was not the case in today's sermon. Abram, later Abraham, was called out of Ur of the Chaldees and told to go to a land he didn't know. He would also become the father of a great nation. The biggest problem however to all of this was his age.

But is age really an excuse?

Abraham is an interesting character. When he gets things right, it's incredible what God does. When he gets things wrong, he really messes up. Not unlike you or I perhaps, but please take a listen to the sermon below and share it. Let me know if you've been blessed by it.
