Does Your Talk Match Your Walk? (audio)

We have a tendency to talk like we're Christian. On Sunday, we will say things like "I have been blessed" or "We'll make that a matter of prayer", or "Praise God, it's a glorious day." But how are we living the other six days of the week?

There is such a thing as becoming mature in our faith. Last week's sermon was on justification, but there's also an expectation that we don't allow ourselves to idly rest on that. There needs to be growth. We are given the gift of the Holy Spirit at the moment we are saved. It is God's DNA, His life, placed into our own. Just as we are subject to being matured physically, so we are subject to being matured spiritually as well.

We do however have a choice as well: do we submit, or do we prohibit?

This week's message takes a look at Ephesians 5:8-14. Please take a listen to it, and share it with someone you believe needs to hear it.
