Elijah: You Are Not Alone (audio)

Fear can be debilitating, especially if we find ourselves in a place where we think we are doing the work of the Lord, but come to the realization that it was more about us than it was about Him. At this point, Elijah may be feeling dejected. He had just called down fire from heaven, and even though it may not have been what God wanted to do, He still demonstrated His power.

Yet Ahab told his wife Jezebel what had happened, and she sent a message to the "troubler of Israel", that he would be dead within a day or she would be, struck down by her gods. In retrospect this is an empty threat, but Elijah still ran, fearful for his life. He didn't get the reaction that he was hoping for.

It is on this passage that our licensed ministerial candidate, Caleb Young, speaks on. Take a listen to the sermon, and I hope you are blessed greatly by it.
