A Time And Purpose for Everything (audio)

When it comes to the end of one year and the beginning of the new year, time seems to be the thing that everyone thinks about. Events that defined the previous year is given a retrospective, and our hopes and dreams are placed at the beginning. Of course each of these things has their time and place.

But what about purpose? Do we stop and consider that at all?

We have a tendency to treat time as though it is something we control, that we can manipulate it to accomplish the things we want. But is that really the purpose of time?

If we take Ecclesiastes 3 seriously, we might have to reconsider our views of time. It tells us that there is a time and a purpose, God's purpose, for every season, every event.

Take a listen to the sermon from the first Sunday of 2014, and please feel free to share with anyone you think needs to hear it.
