The Way We Worship Matters (Audio)

In many regards I have already blogged about this sermon a couple posts back. However, it is something that I have been thinking a lot about recently. How is it that we approach Sunday? How is it that we approach worship? Is it ever okay to shortchange God what is due Him because of Who He is?

I understand people lead busy lives, and that other good and important things are going on in our world, but is that really a good excuse to cheat God?

We were created for relationship with God. We were created to have fellowship with God. Worship is the expression of that relationship. How we approach worship really reveals how we approach our relationship to God. Can we not wait to get out of church or Bible study or prayer because something else is happening?

Would your spouse ever accept that as an excuse to not spend time with them? To not be with them? Then why should God accept it?

The sermon from yesterday morning is below. Please let me know your reaction to it.
